Michael Leonard Fink (age 68) Passed away peacefully at his home on Safter fighting colon cancer for more than 4 1/2 years. John and Connie built a beautiful life together in The Villages. His family and those who knew him well might say that John was a man who was cut from a special cloth, a dying breed, and the world is a much sadder place because of this loss. He is preceded in death by his father, John Michael Fink Sr., and his mother, Louise May Fink, of Harrison City, PA. John was born on October 4th, 1937 in Greensburg, PA. He is remembered by his family as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He married Mary Magdalena Christman about 1820, in Lehigh, Pennsylvania, United States. He was a past Board Member for Good Shepard Hospital in Allentown and he and his wife were supporters of Kids' Sanctuary in West Palm Beach. When John Michael Fink was born in 1785, in Thornhurst Township, Lackawanna, Pennsylvania, United States, his father, Peter Fink, was 33 and his mother, Anna Maria Elizabetha Mertz, was 28. Until his passing, he was the President of Palm Beach Food and Wine Society. He a member and past President of the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC). Fink was a former executive committee member and President of the Compressed Gas Association (CGA), from which he was honored with a Lifetime Service Award. He thereafter resided primarily in West Palm Beach, while spending summers in Avalon, New Jersey, with his children and grandchildren. Fink and his wife, Madeline, began to split their time between the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, and West Palm Beach, Florida. Fink continually pursued additional business opportunities and acquisitions, including: Consolidated Precision Controls, Inc., Quality Cryogenics, Inc., CVI Control Valves and Medical Gas Management, Inc. a Lehigh Valley based company, that manufactured cryogenic products for the industrial gas industry. For over thirty-five years, he was the principal owner, Chairman and CEO of Acme Cryogenics, Inc. He attended William Allen High School in Allentown and Wilmington College in Ohio. Fink was born on Main Allentown, Pennsylvania to Florence and Roderic Fink. Roderic (Rod) Robert Fink, 83, died peacefully in his home in West Palm Beach, Florida, on October 7th, 2021 after a brief battle with cancer.
